The OpenClaw Certificate
A practical, deployment-focused credential for AI agent engineering. Earned by completing the 50-page Mastery Course and self-assessment. Issued as a PDF on request — included free with every tier from $49.99.
What the certificate is (and isn’t)
The OpenClaw certificate is a certificate of completion for the Mastery Course. It confirms that you have read the 50-page masterclass, completed the Chapter 13 self-assessment, and have working knowledge of AI agent deployment on Telegram, Discord, and WhatsApp.
It is not an accredited certification. No university or government body issues it. The same is true of certificates from Coursera, Udemy, HubSpot Academy, Google Career Certificates, and most online learning platforms — practical evidence of completed coursework, not regulated credentials. For a full comparison with NVIDIA, AWS, IBM, and Microsoft AI certifications, see Is the OpenClaw Certification Worth It?
What it signals to employers and clients
The certificate signals working, hands-on knowledge of the following six areas:
- AI agent architecture — how the Gateway control plane, sessions, and routing work in production
- Install & configuration — installer scripts, package managers, schema-validated config, and a 60-second verification ladder
- Permissions & sandboxing — tool profiles (full, coding, messaging, minimal), allow/deny lists, sandbox modes, and proving boundaries actually hold
- Skill installation — the ClawHub registry, supply-chain safety, cron vs heartbeat scheduling, and the OpenAI-compatible /v1 API surface
- Security & incident response — the 60-second hardened baseline, audit runs, token rotation, secrets handling, and audit trail collection
- Multi-channel deployment — Telegram, Discord, and WhatsApp, with the model-channel-skill matrix that determines which combination fits which job

Certificate FAQ
Does OpenClaw have any certifications or accreditations?+
OpenClaw issues a certificate of completion for the Mastery Course. It is not an accredited certification — there is no university or government body behind it. It functions like a Coursera, Udemy, or HubSpot Academy certificate: practical evidence of completed coursework, useful for LinkedIn, resumes, and portfolios.
Is the OpenClaw certificate included in the course price?+
Yes. Every tier — Essentials ($49.99), Professional ($99.99), and Mastery ($199.99) — includes the certificate of completion on request. There is no additional fee for issuance.
How do I get my OpenClaw certificate?+
Complete the self-assessment at the end of Chapter 13, then email [email protected] from the address you used to purchase the course. We issue your PDF certificate within 1–2 business days.
Is there a proctored exam for the OpenClaw certificate?+
No. There is a self-assessment at the end of Chapter 13, but no proctored exam, no time limit, and no retake fee. The certificate confirms you have completed the masterclass content and self-assessed your understanding.
Can I add the OpenClaw certificate to LinkedIn?+
Yes. The PDF includes your name, issue date, curriculum version, and a verification URL. Add it to your LinkedIn Licenses & Certifications section with OpenClaw as the issuing organization.
How does the OpenClaw certificate compare to NVIDIA, AWS, or IBM AI certs?+
OpenClaw is practical and deployment-focused ($49.99). The vendor certs (NVIDIA $200, AWS $300, IBM $390 over 4 months, Microsoft $165) are theory-heavy and cloud-specific. Many engineers stack both — a vendor cert for resume keywords, OpenClaw for the actual portfolio piece. See [the full comparison](/blog/openclaw-certification-explained).
What does the OpenClaw certificate prove I can do?+
Working knowledge of AI agent architecture, install & configuration, permissions & sandboxing, AI skill installation, security & incident response, and deployment to Telegram, Discord, or WhatsApp. The same body of knowledge a junior AI agent engineer needs to ship to production.
